The idea was to test the method of eLearning to remove for example the commitment to a certain place and to time utilising the inter net. Our experiment succeeded well and we will continue this also in the spring. The ideas have come already from good lecturers and subjects.
The year 2007 was rewarding for Logistia. We won the first price to our Logistia- DVD in Hamburg WorldMediaFestifal . In the fall we were ranked number one in the customer satisfaction study of Finland’s technology parks. We were also accepted as members to IASP (International Association of Science Parks). The companies of the Cluster have had a great year of the growth; the order book is good. Now the problem is a lack of labor and assembly halls.
The 2008 development work is directed at the improvement of the productivity of the companies and at the removal of the obstacles of the growth. This work is co-ordinated by Logistia Development Unit.
Hopefully Logistia Institute also will begin its operation immediately in the spring of 2008. Logistia Institute produces education, research and product development to the field of the intra logistics. The preparations to begin operation are at present going.
The eLogistia program gives birth to the new business utilising for example mobile-technology and web 2.0.
In the Logistia network new products have already been developed as the cooperation of the companies and research.
Also eLearning has been practised at our technology center in the fall of 2007. We got good experiences of the Logistia Innovation Cafe. We go on the developing of the know-how of eLearning in 2008.
The image and brand of Logistia are developed by producing papers, by developing further Web pages and communication. It, of course, is the most important that Logistia produces high standard study and products.
Logistia Innovation Café really works! In addition to good lectures, we are developing library activity. We get the books as donations, for the present. Our idea is that “the good is allowed to turn.” The donation books also are encoded to the library system of Kauhajoki. Here the newest books:

The introducer of our Innovation Cafe today 13.11. was professor Martti Lindman. He inspired we to discuss how the production development strategia brings the result. We had a good discussion from this theme, we spoke especially about the product development of the companies in Kauhajoki region and what could be done in the future.

Logistia companies have sponsored the basketballteam of Kauhajoki already for several years. The Kauhajoki Bears team rose finely in the spring of 2007 to the Finnish SM leaque. Now we indeed may often follow good matches from the TV. Our advertisement slogan “Smart moves” works for this sport excellently. And it also flashes every once in a while in the TV.
