We have developed the network of the companies of intelligent conveyors for several years in Kauhajoki.
As tools in the development work have especially been the reseach group of logistic systems (EPANET/University of Vaasa), AKO- the regional development program of Kauhajoki and the company LC Logistics Center Oy Ltd.
The Cluster now includes nearly 70 companies which are located at Kauhajoki and the Technology centre Logistia. The Logistia Cluster reaches through the ownerships of the companies a lot far as Kauhajoki. During the spring we are arranging strategy processes in which we innovate how we can strengthen connections from here to the affiliated companies and subcontracting companies which are located around the world.
We are also looking for new potential customers especially from the energy –and environment field.
The significant extension of our development work will be that we are planning development programs also for the hole metal cluster in the area. Now the challenge is to invent a good name to this new development program, which also includes the Logistia-Cluster.
