On Friday we celebrated the opening of the new immigration center at our technology center. The atmosphere was very international. Also the new name of the center was published; INKA. There are many explanations what the name INKA means, “international Kauhajoki” ” “or In Kauhajoki” or International Café (Kahvila).”

The International Center will be opened in Kauhajoki in September. The center is situated in technology Center Logistia (address: Teknologiapuisto 1). The center will serve immigrants and other foreigners. The center will also help local enterprises with international and labour issues.
The immigration coordinator Sanna Uusitalo started her job on 18th of August. The opening ceremony of the International Center will be on 29th of August. Our guests of honour will be the Ambassadors Tran Ngoc An (Vietnam) and Pekka Hyvönen.
There will be many customers immediately at the International Center when the 17 Vietnamese workers of the metal field are arriving to Kauhajoki.
